PYT recently received a very large gift from the estate of a former French teacher from the Philadelphia area. She was an advocate for the arts and her Executor selected PYT as a charity which comport with the guidelines established in her last will and testament.
This extraordinary gift could not have arrived at a better time. With ArtsQuest’s plans for the demolition and reconstruction of the Banana Factory set to begin 1st quarter of 2024, PYT will be displaced, leaving us at a crossroads. With this gift, a long-imagined dream could come true: to purchase a building! Our team is working tirelessly and has a building in sight. Now, as we raise the curtain on our 37th Season, we are rejuvenated and poised to move forward. We ask that you join our campaign to provide a warm and safe environment for our students to explore, train and create. You are essential to this next step in our journey.
